Kevin R. Harper, MBA

Chief Investment Officer 

Kevin is responsible for the development and implementation of Almanack’s investment strategy and the design of the firm’s research infrastructure.  Kevin is the Chairman of the Almanack investment committee.  He has 20 years experience including nine years working for and investing on behalf of  leading Ivy League endowments. He has also served as the lead portfolio manager for a multi-family office and an institutional alternatives advisor to multi-billion Taft-Hartley and Fortune 50 pension plans.  Wharton undergrad and MBA.


James W. Judge, CFA, MBA

Senior DIRECTOR 

Jim is responsible for broad portfolio management functions including portfolio construction and implementation. Jim is a member of the Almanack investment committee. He has over 12 years of experience including five years serving as an analyst, trader, and portfolio manager for two institutional asset management firms. Jim has also served as the lead portfolio manager for a multi-family office and an institutional alternatives advisor to multi-billion Taft-Hartley and Fortune 50 pension plans. Boston College undergrad, Wharton MBA.

dANIEL c. gUY, cfa, CAIA

Senior ANALYST 

Dan is responsible for implementation and trading of Almanack's strategies and management of the advisor services platform. Dan is a member of the Almanack investment committee. He has over 5 years of experience including five years serving as an analyst for a multi-family office and an institutional alternatives advisor to multi-billion Taft-Hartley and Fortune 50 pension plans. University of Delaware undergrad.

Michael J. Gompers, MBA

Director of business development 

Michael leads business development for Family Office and Institutional services. He provides strategic guidance and has a proven track record of delivering investment solutions with successful results.

Mike has over 15 years of investment industry experience working with institutional & private clients.  Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer at VTL Associates LLC, an asset manager for multi-billion institutions.  Mike was responsible for the internal and external operations of the company, including financial oversight.  He served in an executive capacity with RevenueShares ETFs, holding approximately $1.2 Billion in assets, and actively steered the firm through a successful sale to OppenheimerFunds. St. Joseph’s University undergrad, St. Joseph’s University MBA.  Mike is a volunteer coach and Board Member for local Pop Warner Youth Football League.
