Kevin R. Harper, MBA

Chief Investment Officer 

Kevin is responsible for the development and implementation of Almanack’s investment strategy and the design of the firm’s research infrastructure.  Kevin is the Chairman of the Almanack investment committee.  He has 20 years experience including nine years working for and investing on behalf of  leading Ivy League endowments. He has also served as the lead portfolio manager for a multi-family office and an institutional alternatives advisor to multi-billion Taft-Hartley and Fortune 50 pension plans.  Wharton undergrad and MBA.

James W. Judge, CFA, MBA

Senior DIRECTOR 

Jim is responsible for broad portfolio management functions including portfolio construction and implementation. Jim is a member of the Almanack investment committee. He has over 12 years of experience including five years serving as an analyst, trader, and portfolio manager for two institutional asset management firms. Jim has also served as the lead portfolio manager for a multi-family office and an institutional alternatives advisor to multi-billion Taft-Hartley and Fortune 50 pension plans. Boston College undergrad, Wharton MBA.

Senior ANALYST 

Dan is responsible for implementation and trading of Almanack's strategies and management of the advisor services platform. Dan is a member of the Almanack investment committee. He has over 5 years of experience including five years serving as an analyst for a multi-family office and an institutional alternatives advisor to multi-billion Taft-Hartley and Fortune 50 pension plans. University of Delaware undergrad.

Michael Gompers

 

Mike has over 15 years of investment management for institutional & private clients. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at VTL Associates LLC, and a manager of pre-eminent exchange traded funds (ETFs), with $9Bil in non-discretionary assets. Mike was responsible for the internal and external operations of the company, including financial oversight. He also managed the daily activities of the RevenueShares ETFs, holding approximately $1.2Bil in assets. Michael actively steered the firm to success through a sale to OppenheimerFunds.
